She was originally based in Malta and won the RORC Middle Sea Race. She then moved to Swansea from where I bought her in 2013. She has since been modified for offshore double handed racing. She won the RSYC double handed series in 2014, came 4th overall in RORC in 2016, won the 2018 JOG offshore class 3 and double handed series.

I have been messy about with boats since I was 7 years old. First on sailing dingys, on friends yachts and then on my first yacht a Rival 32. In 2006 I caught the offshore racing bug and raced fully crewed in many races including Round Britain and Ireland, Round Ireland, Caribbean 600 and Fastnet. In 2012 I did an Atlantic crossing on the ARC in a classic 1936 wooden boat. In 2013 I started racing double handed and bought Bigfoot. I co-skippered the outward bound leg of the AZAB in 2015 in a friends J105 called Juliette. I have raced Bigfoot in multiple shorthanded races including two fastnets and have decided to complete the full AZAB race in my own boat this year.
